Minnesota Receives CSCAA Scholar All-American Awards
Four Gophers received CSCAA Scholar All-American Awards

The Gophers men's swimming and diving team received Scholar All-American accolades from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America this week. Four men were named to the Scholar All-American Team while seven received Scholar All-American Honorable Mention honors.

To qualify for the Scholar All-America team, an athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and qualify for the national championships. In addition to these four individuals meeting criteria, Minnesota also received the Team Scholar All-American Award. This honor is presented to teams achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 during both semesters.

Among the individual award winners are six-time All-American Derek Toomey and four time All-American Hrvoje Capan. A complete list of Minnesota's award recipients follows below.
