Gopher Men Receive Community Service Award

The men's swimmers and divers were selected for the Men's Community Service Award at the 2014 Golden Goldys.

Throughout the season the team volunteered a total of 848 hours.

Organizations Volunteered with:

-Relay for Life

-Feed my Starving Children

-University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital

-Muscular Dystrophy Association

-Big Brothers Big Sisters

-Palmer Lake Elementary

-Afton-Lakeland Elementary

This award illustrates the dedication the men's swimming and diving team has to impacting the Twin Cities community during their time at the University of Minnesota.

Minnesota swimming and diving was nominated for several awards including: Best Female Team, Best Female Coach: Kelly Kremer, Male Athlete of the Year: Derek Toomey, and Male Rookie of the Year: Jakub Maly.

Voted Hardest Worker last season, junior Noah Busch has been a leader in the water for freshmen sprinters.

Minnesota Diving Wraps GT Invite


The University of Minnesota men's and women's diving teams wrapped competition at the 2015 Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the McAuley Aquatic Center with platform diving.

Pollard Takes 2nd on Day 2 of GT Invite


Night two of the Georgia Tech Invitational featured five Golden Gophers qualfiying for finals in the women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter diving competitions.
