The Big Ten Conference announced it’s weekly awards Tuesday. Senior Mikey Ross notched the Diver of the Week after a strong performance at the Minnesota Challenge last weekend.
Ross earned two first-place finishes for the Gophers over the weekend. With a season-best score of 421.80 the senior finished first in 3-meter diving and also notched a victory in platform with a 367.85, both NCAA Zone Diving qualifying marks. This is Ross’s second weekly award this season and of his career at Minnesota after last winning it Dec. 4, 2012. He earned the honor four times while at Wisconsin.
