Eric Sande took first in the men's 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:27.99 and 100-yard breaststroke with a 55.09, which was an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Eric also had second place finish behind teammate Spencer Mattox in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:03.47). Sande is from Bakersfield, California and this is his first B1G weekly honor.
Freshman Maddie Hoch took first in the Minnesota Challenge's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.88. Maddie also took second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:49.35) and third in the 100-yard butterfly (57.37 seconds). Maddie Hoch is from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and this is also her first B1G weekly honor!
