Island Time • After just under two weeks of training in the annual trip to Hawaii, the men's team is ready to go head-to-head with the Aloha State. Last Encounter • 2013's match up between Minnesota and Hawaii resulted in a Minnesota win (182.5-103.5) The Gopher men won 13 of the 16 events that day. A Minnesota win also occurred in the 2011-2012 season.
Ranks • Going into this dual meet the NCAA has the Gopher men ranked as No. 5 among Division I universities, with a 4-1 record. The team is only ranked below No. 1 Michigan for the B1G Conference. The men's sole loss this season was against No. 2 Florida. The Hawaii men's team is not ranked.
