The University of Minnesota men's diving team wrapped up the first day of NCAA Zone Diving Monday at The University of Houston's Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.
Senior Mikey Ross led the Gophers in 1 meter diving, finishing in third-place with a total score of 707.00. Manny Pollard secured the sixth-place spot after marking a 678.90, while Jordan Lesser finished 14th (616.25) and Dylan Zoe came in 18th (561.55) on the day.
Zone D of NCAA Zone Diving continues Tuesday with men's 3 meter diving at 5:30pm and platform diving Wednesday at 2:45pm at the University of Houston Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.
The men who make the cut will compete at the NCAA Championships March 28-31 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Minnesota's 400 free relay broke a 12-year-old record, and McHugh and Barnard added points.
