2011-12 • Freshman Season: Made his debut as a freshman at the NCAA Championships • earned All-American Honors in the 1,650 free by placing 13th with a career-best time of 14:52.73 • finished 36th in the 500 free • placed fourth in the 1,650 free at the Big Ten Championships (15:02.57) • earned a top time in the 500 free prelim (4:22.09) while placing 14th overall • finished 56th in the 200 free with a career-best 1:40.73 • won the 1,000 free at the Triple Duals with a top time of 9:10.25 • won the 500 and 1,000 free against Missouri • won the 500 and 1,650 free at the Hawaii Dual • letterwinner.
