2014-15 Junior Season: Second-year letterwinner • At the 2015 Big Ten Championships, Miksch finished 30th in the 100 free, 32nd in the 50 free, 36th in the 200 free, 7th in the 400 medley relay, 6th in the 400 free relay and 7th in the 200 free relay (2/25-2/28) • At the 2015 Minnesota Challenge, Miksch placed 19th in the 100 fly (2/7) • Finished 4th in the 200 free, 6th in the 100 free and 9th in the 50 free against Northwestern and Purdue (1/30-1/31) • Took 6th in the 100 free and 7th in the 50 free at N.C. State (1/23-1/24) • Placed 3rd in the 100 free at Hawaii (1/7) • At the 2014 Jean K. Finished 45th in the 100 free (45.31), finished 33rd in the 200 free (1:37.95), and finished 48th in the 50 free (20.76) at the Big Ten Conference Championships (02/27-03/01) • Placed 10th in the 100 free (46.91), 12th in the 100 backstroke (53.77), and 9th in the 200 IM at the Minnesota Challenge (02/07-02/08) • Placed 10th in the 100 free (46.78) and 10th in the 50 free (21.23) vs. Purdue and Wisconsin-Madison (01/31-02/01) • Completed the 50 free with a time of 21.22, placed 8th in the 100 free (47.01), and placed 9th in the 200 free (1:43.28) vs. NC State (01/24) • Placed 23rd in the 100 fly (53.83), placed 11th in the 100 backstroke (53.71), and completed the 50 free with a time of 21.70 at the Jean Freeman Invitational (12/06-12/07) • Placed 6th in the 100 free (45.75) at the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/16).

2012-13 • Freshman Season:
Was awarded top times of the season during his first appearance at the Big Ten Championships in the 50, 100 and 200 free • added 6.5 points for the team in dual meets in his first season for Minnesota • 200 free relay team took second at the Jean Freeman Invitational (11/30/12) • 400 freestyle relay team swam to second place at the Grand Prix (11/9/12) • took fourth place in both the 50 and 100 free in the Wisconsin dual (10/26/12) • competed in the 50 free, 100 free and placed third as a member of the 400 free relay at Michigan (10/5/12).

High School: A 2012 graduate from Scotus Central Catholic High School • two-time All-American his junior and senior year swimming for Columbus High School • four-time Nebraska State Champion in the 50 free as well as the 100 free his junior and senior year • Nebraska State Record Holder in the 100 free (44.51) • 2011 Nebraska High School Swimmer of the State Meet • earned Columbus High School's most valuable swimmer award all four years • 2012 Olympic Trials Qualifier • also swam with Great Omaha Aquatics.

Personal: Born July 21, 1993 • son of Joe and Roberta Miksch • has two younger sisters, Laura and Emily • majoring in mechanical engineering • most memorable sports moment was achieving his first Olympic Trials cut.
