The Gophers fell, 170-124, to the Wolverines Friday in Ann Arbor.

High School: A 2012 graduate from Scotus Central Catholic High School • two-time All-American his junior and senior year swimming for Columbus High School • four-time Nebraska State Champion in the 50 free as well as the 100 free his junior and senior year • Nebraska State Record Holder in the 100 free (44.51) • 2011 Nebraska High School Swimmer of the State Meet • earned Columbus High School's most valuable swimmer award all four years • 2012 Olympic Trials Qualifier • also swam with Great Omaha Aquatics.

Personal: Born July 21, 1993 • son of Joe and Roberta Miksch • has two younger sisters, Laura and Emily • undecided major • most memorable sports moment was achieving his first Olympic Trials cut.
