2013-14 Junior Season:During the 2014 B1G Championships, he finished 56th in the 200 Free, 33rd in the 500 Free and 22nd in the 1650 Free (2/16-3/1) At the 2014 Minnesota Challenge, Garin finished 6th in the 400 IM, 39th in the 100 Free, and 7th in the 200 Free Placed 9th in the 1000 Free at the B1G Triple Dual (1/31-2/1) Finished 6th in the 1000 Free and 5th in the 500 Free vs. NC State (1/24-1/25) Against Hawaii, Marlow finished 4th in the 1000 Free (1/11) Placed 10th in the 100 Fly, 4th in the 400 IM, 6th in the 200 Free Relay and 2nd in the 800 Free Relay at the Jean Freeman Invite (12/6-12/7) At the 2013 Minneapolis Grand Prix, he placed 61st in the 200 Free, 18th in the 1650 and 26th in the 500 Free (11/14-11/16) Placed 2nd in the 1000 Free vs. North Dakota (11/9) Finished 4th in the 1000 Free and 6th in the 500 Free vs. Iowa (11/1) Against Wisconsin, Marlow placed 4th in the 500 Free, 5th in the 800 Free Relay and 5th in the 1650 Free (10/18-10/19) Finished 5th in the 500 Free and 7th in the 1000 Free vs. Florida (10/12) Placed 3rd in the 1000 Free against Arizona State (10/5)
2012-13 Sophomore Season: Received four career top times in his first Big Ten Championship competition added nine total points to the team for his second season as a Golden Gopher placed fourth in the 1000 free at the Triple Duals (2/1) took 12th in the 500 free and 14th in the 1650 free at the Grand Prix (11/9/12) finished fourth in the 1000 free against Iowa (11/2/12) placed fifth in the 1000 free at the Wisconsin dual (10/26/12).
2011-12 Freshman Season: Established top times at the Minnesota Challenge placed second in the 1,650 free (15:38.20) finished third in the 500 free (4:33.08) also placed third in the 1,650 free at the Hawaii dual.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Marquette High School coaches were Gregg Emde and Dan Bostleman also swam with Rockwood Swim Club 2011 Suburban Southwest Conference champion in the 100-yard backstroke three-time conference 500 free champion (2008-10) earned all-state honors each year of high school three-time team MVP named his team's hardest worker in 2008 competed in the 2009 Speedo International Age Group Invitational US junior nationals competitor graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Born January 20, 1993 majoring in aerospace engineering son of Jeff and Judy Marlow has a brother, Sam watching the St. Louis Cardinals' 2006 World Series title is among his favorite sports memories an orchestra member since fourth grade.
