2012-13 • Junior Season: Competed in the 200 fly, 100 fly and was a member of the 400 free relay at Michigan (10/5).

2011-12 • Sophomore Season: Established season top times at the Iowa dual • placed fifth in the 100 fly (50.77) • also placed fifth in the 200 fly (1:53.00) • member of the fourth place 200 medley relay • lead off the sixth place 400 free relay • placed fifth in the 200 free against Wisconsin.

2010-11 • Freshman Season: Won the 200 fly at the Minnesota Challenge • established his top time in the 100 free at the Spring Speedo Championships • swam his best times in the 200 free and 200 fly at the Minnesota Challenge • swam his best 100 fly at the Falcon Invite.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Edina High School • high school coach was Art Downey • 2010 Minnesota State Class AA champion in the 100 and 200 free and the 200 and 400 free relay • 2009 champion in the 100 and 200 free and 400 free relay • also a state competitor his freshman and sophomore years • two-time Minnesota swimmer of the year • named an All-American all four years of high school • all-state and All-Classic Lake Conference all four years • set three individual school records • competed for Team Foxjet and coach Ann Urschel.
