Minnesota won three events at Canham Natatorium Saturday.
2012-13 Sophomore Season: Competed in the 100 back, 200 back and had the fourth fastest time as a member of the 200 medley relay at Michigan (10/5).
2011-12 Freshman Season: Swam in the Big Ten Championships came in 26th in the 200 back (1:48.00) finished 33rd in the 100 back (50.64) finished 43rd in the 200 IM (1:52.99) established top times at the Minnesota Challenge won the 200 back (1:46.63) placed fifth in the 100 back (50.41) also part of the second place 200 free relay letterwinner.
High School: A 2011 graduate of James Bowie High School three-time conference champion in the 100 back finished fourth in the 100 back at Texas's 2011 University Interscholastic League 5A state championships NISCA All-American in 2010 and 2011 all-state three years all-conference four years school record holder in the 100 back competed multiple times at the Darmstadt International Swim Invite in Germany US junior nationals competitor NISCA and USA Swimming Academic All-American AP Scholar.
Personal: Born Feb. 23, 1993 majoring in biomedical engineering son of Robert and Sabine Johnson has a younger brother, Philip cites making the 200 back bonus final at long course junior nationals as his most memorable sports thrill speaks both German and English and has dual citizenship enjoys traveling, playing Ultimate, and playing disk golf.
