2016-17 Sophomore Season: Improved to 20.27 in the 50-yard free at the Big Ten Championships • earned top-10 finishes in the 50-yard free (20.94) and 100-yard free (46.01) • finished first in the 50-yard free (20.50) at the Jean Freeman Invitational • placed second with a 45.06 at the Jean Freeman Invitational.

2015-16 Freshman Season:
First-year letterwinner • At the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Tidd finished 36th in the 50 free and 57th in the 100 free • Tallied 10 top-five finishes during the regular season • Recorded personal bests in his sprint free sweep of the 50 free and 100 free at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge • Made his collegiate debut at Florida State.
