Minnesota men’s and women’s swimming and diving team used solid showings in their home pool to pick up a pair of Big Ten conference wins
2016-17 Sophomore Season: Improved to 54.78 in the 100-yard breast at the Big Ten Championships • earned a 57.06 in the 100-yard breast against Iowa • improved to 56.75 in the 100-yard breast against North Dakota • placed third in the 200-yard breast with a 2:04.18 at the Minnesota Invitational.
2015-16 Freshman Season: Recorded college career best times in the 100 breast (56.36), 200 breast (2:00.70) and 200 IM (1:56.50) at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge • Made his collegiate debut against Florida.
High School: 2015 graduate of Maple Grove Senior High • “A” Honor Roll 2010-15 • Coached by Ron Jacobsen and John Stenroos • Won back-to-back Minnesota State titles in the 100 breaststroke 2014, 2015 • Holds pool and school record in 100 breaststroke • Five-time letter winner in swimming • All-Conference 2011-15 • All-State 2013-15 • Team MVP 2013-15 • Team Captain 2015 • Hardest Worker 2014 • Scored the most varsity points on team 2014-15 • Member of NHCP Swimming Club.
