1st Annual Gopher Hockey Skate With The Greats
On the evening of Thursday, January 9, 2014 Gopher fans will have the chance to skate on the Hockey City Classic outdoor ice at TCF Bank Stadium with a variety of Minnesota Hockey greats at the first ever "Skate With The Greats" charity event. Pro-ceeds from the event will benefit the Unlimited Dance Marathon and University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital.
General admission tickets will include a 30-minute skate session on the outdoor ice and gain access to the Dairy Queen Club Room. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets will include access to the Premium Indoor Club. Fans attending the event will have a complimentary designated skate session. All participants are encouraged to bring their own skates, however there will also be a complimentary skate rental available.

ABOUT THE UNLIMITED DANCE MARATHON
Unlimited Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraising and awareness campaign for the fight against pediatric health issues and will be held at Mariucci Arena on February 22-23. The event is designed to raise funds and awareness for Amplatz Children's Hospital. In addition to the no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon, the event will feature personal stories from children and families served through the resources Amplatz provides. Participants dancing in the mara-thon will earn pledges for their dance time.
