TRAFFIC UPDATE FOR THOSE ATTENDING FRIDAY NIGHT'S GOPHER MEN'S HOCKEY GAME AT MARIUCCI ARENA (6 PM START):
Between approximately 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2011, University Avenue will be closed to all traffic from 15th Avenue SE to Oak Street SE, due to the Homecoming parade. The University Avenue Ramp will have NO access IN during this two-hour timeframe, but patrons will be able to EXIT the ramp using the bus lane and going south on Walnut Street to Beacon Street. From there, patrons can go Beacon to Harvard to Pillsbury to Pleasant to Washington to get to I-35 OR can use Beacon to Harvard to Fulton to Huron to get to I-94.
When driving in the area near the TCF Bank Stadium Friday night, please use caution and watch for pedestrians and bicyclists.
