CHICAGO (January 3, 2014) - TCF Bank announced today that it will give away free skate passes for the Hockey City Classic Winter Festival at select TCF Bank locations in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, January 3, a total of 2,500 passes will be handed out to the public for the free skate, which will be held on Sunday, Jan. 12 at TCF Bank Stadium.
A limited supply of free skate passes will be available at select TCF Bank locations in the Twin Cities. Passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at a limit of four per household. Skate rental and parking are not included.

The public skate is part of the Hockey City Classic Winter Festival scheduled for Jan. 9-18 at TCF Bank Stadium. Other festival activities include the High School Hockey Faceoff on Jan. 11, as well as private ice rentals and community hockey events. Skate times on Jan. 12 are as follows: 9 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.
This is the first time that outdoor hockey is coming to TCF Bank Stadium , so demand will be high and tickets are expected to go fast.
