Head Coach Don Lucia
On the game and Adam Wilcox…
“Yes, it was a good hockey game. I liked the way we played tonight, it was hard fought, up until the whistle. There was energy tonight, we blocked shots, worked on tempo and things throughout the game. It was honestly something which we had talked about, Wilcox not having to face as many shots. Give him more time and space.”

Recap of tonight’s game…
“That was probably the best that our team has played in a long time, but especially in the second half here. It’s good to see us rolling on all cylinders here going into Wisconsin, they are a good team, so if we can get them behind us, and get six points from them. But, today was a big game for us. A lot of blocked shots, and centering the blocked shots there. Rau with a big time goal. Before the game said that he wanted to get his offense back, so it was good to see that. But our defense played well, with Marshall in the back, especially after missing last night’s game, was huge for us. It was nice to have a good sixty minutes.”
