Head Coach Don Lucia
On the five defensive men tonight…
“We didn’t give up a lot. We had seventy-something attempts to [Michigan State’s] forty- something, but we gave up a couple grade A’s. I thought that the five d-men held in there pretty good. Some of them got pretty fatigued, like when they got caught on the ice. We’re not at one hundred percent yet, as far as the physical part of it. But Marshall is coming back tomorrow night."
On Hudson Fasching’s goal…
“It was good to have the power play. [Michigan State] scored another one tonight, and now we have to get back to scoring those five-on-five. I thought it made up for a couple of guys who were lacking a little bit of energy tonight.”
