Five Gophers recorded multi-point games as Minnesota (24-7-5 overall, 16-7-5 WCHA) earned its fourth regular-season championship in eight years and a share of its second-straight MacNaughton Cup.
Zach Budish tied a career-high with four points (two goals, two assists) in the win while Erik Haula picked up three assists in Minnesota's final Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season game at Mariucci Arena.
Friday's series opener will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network and 1500 ESPN while Saturday's regular-season home finale is on FOX Sports North and 1500 ESPN. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. starts.

International: Helped the U.S. Junior Select Team capture the 2010 World Junior A Challenge title in Penticton, B.C. • recorded two goals and two assists • played on the U.S. Under-18 Select Team at the 2009 Ivan Hlinka Memorial in Piestany, Slovakia • shared the team lead in scoring with Gopher teammate Christian Isackson by putting up two goals and two assists in three games.
