2012-13 • Freshman Season:Skated in 36 games for the Gophers this season as a freshman • collected three points with a goal and two assists in 2012-13 • owned a +11 rating for the season • made his collegiate debut partnering on defense with Nate Schmidt against Michigan State (10/12) • recorded the first two points of his Gopher career with a goal and an assist against Michigan State (10/13) • assisted on a Nate Schmidt's goal in the third period to give the Gophers a cushion in a win over St. Cloud State (2/8).

International: Particpated in the2012 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp • had a tournament-high plus-10 rating and added an assist in six games for gold medal-winning Team USA at the 2012 Under-18 Men's World Championship in Breclav, Brno and Znojmo, Czech Republic • had a goal and two assists in four games at the 2012 Under-18 Five Nations Tournament in Pori, Finland for third-place United States • helped U.S. Under-17 Team win the 2011 Vlad Dzurilla Under-18 Tournament title in Piestany, Slovakia • notched one goal and three assists at the 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Portage La Prairie and Winnipeg, Man. for second-place United States • had two goals and three assists for first-place Team USA at the 2010 Under-17 Four Nations Cup in Woodridge, Ill.
