2011-12 • Senior Season: Has skated in 23 games and has four goals • has taken took only three minor penalties all season • made his season debut against Sacred Heart (10/7) • scored his first goal of the season, which was also the game-winner, against Colorado College (1/21) • recorded a goal at Denver (2/11) • scored against Wisconsin (3/2) • had one goal against Boston University (3/24) in the NCAA West Regional semifinals.

2010-11 • Junior Season: Recorded seven points (3g-4a) in 30 games • two of his three goals were game-winning tallies • tied for second on the team with two game-winning goals • team was 3-0-0 when he scored a goal and was 4-2-0 when he recorded a point • scored the game-winning goal against Massachusetts (10/9) • had an assist against St. Cloud State (10/22) • his lone multiple-point game was at Colorado College (10/30) where he was +2 and had two assists • recorded his first point in four games with an assist at Minnesota State (12/3) • scored his second goal of the season and was +2 against No. 2 Minnesota-Duluth (12/10) • scored the game-winning goal at No. 2 North Dakota (1/14) • missed the Feb. 11-12 Denver series with an illness • named to the WCHA All-Academic team.

2009-10 • Sophomore Season: Participated in 38 of the team's 39 games • spread his 15 points over 13 different games and 12 separate weekends as the team was 9-4 when he scored a point • recorded at least one point in nine consecutive weekends, starting with an assist in a loss at Wisconsin (11/6) • led the team's regular centers by winning 56.3 percent of faceoffs • had the game-winning goal and an assist in a 5-2 victory over Harvard (1/8) • collected a goal and an assist in a win over Bemidji State (11/14) • notched a power play goal in loss to Minnesota Duluth (11/20) • netted a goal at Minnesota State (12/5) • put a season-high five shots on goal in three different games • named team's outstanding student-athlete award winner • selected to WCHA All-Academic team • split time between center and wing • earned his second letter.

2008-09 • Freshman Season: Appeared in 36 of team's 37 games, including the last 32 games of the season • notched the team's first goal on the power play in the WCHA first round sweep of St. Cloud State (3/13) • scored the game-winning goal with 7:11 left in the third period to break a 3-3 tie in an eventual 5-3 win over Minnesota Duluth (2/28) • all three of his assists came against Wisconsin, helping both goals in a 2-2 tie (10/24) and assisting a goal in a 5-4 loss (2/7) • scored goals in wins over Colorado College (12/13) and Brown (1/2) • primarily played center, but also spent time at wing • earned his first letter.

International: Helped Team USA claim a bronze medal in the 2008 World Junior A challenge in British Columbia • collected a silver medal with Team USA at the under-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament in the Czech Republic.

High School: Helped the Omaha Lancers to the Clark Cup USHL championship in 2007-08 with 10 goals and 14 assists in 56 games • had a goal and two assists in the team's 14 playoff games • played prep hockey at Virginia High School and amassed 164 points in 52 games over his final two seasons • head coaches were Keith Hendrickson and Gary Cornell • helped Virginia to a section title and state tournament appearance in 2005 • team won two conference championships • earned All-State, All-Conference and All-Area accolades • prep teammate of NHL defenseman Matt Niskanen • graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was a National Honor Society member • drafted 50th overall in the second round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars.
