International: Played for the third-place United States at the 2011 World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Langley, B.C., skating with fellow Gopher freshman Mike Reilly • Recorded three assists in four games and won a gold medal skating for Team USA at the 2010 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Huttwil, Switzerland.

Juniors/High School: Played the 2011-12 season for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL, coached by P.K.
