MHK: Gophers defeat Penn State to win the B1G title

The Gophers defeated Penn State on Senior Night to win the 2015 B1G regular season championship.

Set a new career high point total with 11 points including 3 goals and 8 assists while skating in 36 games for the Maroon and Gold • picked up an assist in a 5-2 victory over Bemidji State • tallied an assist in a 5-0 victory over Notre Dame • netted his first goal of the season in a 6-2 road win over Boston College • added an assist in a 5-0 victory over Michigan State • picked up an assist on a Husdon Fashiong goal after firing a laser from the point that went in off of Fasching's glove during a 2-2 tie against Wisconsin • tallied a goal and an assist in a 7-5 victory over Wisconsin in Madison • added a goal during a 4-4 tie on the road at Wisconsin • tallied an assist on a Christian Isackson goal in a 2-1 victory at Penn State  • added an assist during a 4-2 victory at Ohio State • tallied an assist in a 6 -2 victory over Penn State.

Skated in 28 games for the Gophers with seven points, three goals and four assists • Minnesota was 6-0-1 in 2013-14 when Bischoff tallied a point • second among Gophers newcomers and tied for sixth on the team with a plus-15 rating • recorded his first collegiate point with an assist in the Gophers' 5-1 win over Bemidji State • notched his first collegiate goal against Boston College in a 6-1 Minnesota victory • scored the game-winning goal in the third period at Notre Dame during a 5-4 triumph • tallied the game-winning goal against Minnesota State in a 3-0 victory • tallied one assist in a 2-2 overtime tie at Michigan State and added another the next night in a 3-2 win over the Spartans • added an assist in Minnesota's 5-2 win at Penn State to complete a sweep of the Nittany Lions • earned first letter.
