Kyle Rau scored twice in the second period to lead the Gophers on Saturday night.

A product of the U.S. National Development Team Program in Ann Arbor • earned a gold medal with Team USA at the 2014 IIHF Under-18 World Championship in Lappeenranta, Finland • earned a bronze medal at the 2013 World Under-17 Challenge in Canada • competed with the U.S. at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics.

Spent two years with the U.S. National Development Team Program in Ann Arbor, playing in 37 USHL games during the 2012-13 season and 24 USHL games during the 2013-14 season • also skated in 19 games with the U.S. Under-17 Team in 2012-13 • skated in 33 games with the U.S. U-18 team • played high school hockey at Benilde-St. Margaret's and helped the team win the 2012 MSHSL Class AA State Championship • played with Gophers teammate Ryan Collinsat BSM and with the USNDTP, also played with Gophers teammate Hudson Fasching with the USNDTP.
