International: A product of the U.S. National Development Team program • earned a silver medal with Team USA at the U-18 World Championships, tallying six points • will compete for a roster spot with the U.S. National Junior Team for the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championships in Malmo, Sweden.

High School/Juniors: Spent the last two seasons with the U.S. National Development Team Program in Ann Arbor • tallied a total of 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists) in 2012-13 after totaling 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 54 games the previous season • before joining the USNDTP, skated for Apple Valley High School as a freshman and sophomore • scored 50 points (18 goals, 32 assists) in 28 games in his final prep season after recording 42 points (24 goals, 18 assists) in 31 games during the 2009-10 season • played alongside Gophers teammate A.J. Michaelson at Apple Valley.
