The Co-MacNaughton Cup champion Minnesota men's hockey team continues its final Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs this weekend at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul for the 2013 WCHA Final Five.
The Gophers (25-7-5 overall) improved to 22-1-1 this season when the sophomore tallies a point with the forward factoring into both of Minnesota's goals on Friday.
Schmidt represents the Gophers this season with an All-WCHA First Team selection followed by Haula on the All-WCHA Second Team. Bjugstad and Wilcox were named to the All-WCHA Third Team.
Five Gophers recorded multi-point games as Minnesota (24-7-5 overall, 16-7-5 WCHA) earned its fourth regular-season championship in eight years and a share of its second-straight MacNaughton Cup.

2011-12 Freshman Season: Had four goals and nine assists in 41 games third on the team in blocked shots (50) made his collegiate debut against Sacred Heart (10/7) and was a team-high +5 scored his first collegiate goal against Sacred Heart (10/8) earned seven penalty minutes against St. Cloud State (11/19) scored at Michigan State (11/26) had his first multiple-assist game of his career (2a) against Notre Dame (1/7) scored a power-play goal at St. Cloud State (1/28), snapping a 12-game drought without a goal missed both games at Nebraska Omaha (2/24 and 2/25) with an injury returned to the lineup and blocked a team-high four shots against Wisconsin (2/3) had two assists against Alaska Anchorage (3/10) in Game 2 of the first round of the WCHA playoffs scored the first goal of the game against North Dakota (3/25) in the NCAA West Regional championship game.
