2012-13 • Freshman Season:All-WCHA Third Team honoree • appeared in 39 games with 38 starts as a freshman including 37-straight games to end the season • collected a 25-8-5 record to tie Kellen Briggs for the Minnesota rookie wins record • also boasted a 1.88 GAA - setting a new Minnesota single-season record • owns a .921 save percentage with three shutouts this season • made his Gophers' debut and collected his first win allowing just one goal against Michigan State (10/13) • collected his first road victory as a Gopher with 16 saves at Michigan Tech (10/19) • made 20 saves to recorded his first career shutout against Canisius (10/28) • collected the first point of his college career by assisting on a Nick Bjugstad goal. He began the breakout (10/23) • made 48 saves on 50 shots over a weekend set, backstopping the Gophers to a road • recorded his first road and conference shutout in his third career start on the road. He compiled a record of 5-2-2 during the month and posted a 1.75 goals against average to go with a .925 save percentage. • notched his third career shutout at the Mariucci Classic vs. Air Force, making 18 saves (12/29) • grabbed an assist on a shorthanded goal by Sam Warning against Boston College in the Mariucci Classic title game (12/30) • named MVP of the Mariucci Classic, stopping 50 of 51 shots over the two-game tournament (12/29-30) • awarded WCHA Rookie of the Week honors on January 3rd based of being named the MVP of the Mariucci Classic the previous weekend. • recorded the victory in his first taste of the North Dakota rivalry by making 24 saves (1/18) • gave up only one goal and made 26 saves to lead Minnesota to a victory at Minnesota State (1/26) • made a total of 33 saves and allowed only one goal against Denver (3/1) • registered 31 saves, including multiple on breakaways, to backstop the Gophers to a 5-1 victory over Denver (3/2) • allowed only one goal on 24 shots in a 5-1 victory over Bemidji State to close out the regular season (3/9).

International: Participated in the 2008 USA Hockey Select 16 Player Development Camp and the 2009 Select 17 Camp.

Juniors/High School: Was traded from Green Bay of the USHL to Tri-City in 2011-12 • was the Reebok USHL Goaltender of the Week two times for the Storm under head coach Josh Hauge • was named Tri-City's Fan Favorite Defenseman and Most Valuable Player of the Season • appeared in 26 games for Anderson Cup and Clark Cup champion Green Bay in 2010-11, coached by Derek Lalonde • played three seasons of prep hockey at South St. Paul under head coach Jeff Lagoo • earned All-Minnesota honorable mention honors and All-Classic Suburban conference honors twice each • also served as an all-conference and all-state quarterback for the Packers' football team • won the Tom Nace Football Award at South St. Paul • drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 6th round (178th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
