Gophers Enter Big Ten Championships Ranked No. 7

The Minnesota men's gymnastics team will host the Big Ten Championships this weekend in the Sports Pavilion with competition beginning at 7 p.m. on both April 5 and 6. The Gophers enter the event as the No. 7 team in the nation, as the latest Gyminfo National Rankings were released late Monday.

Minnesota is ranked behind Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Stanford, Ohio State and Illinois.

The Gophers also placed seven gymnasts in the top 20 in individual event rankings. Steve Jaciuk leads the way, as he is ranked third in the high bar and sixth in parallel bars. Ellis Mannon is the other Gopher ranked in the top 10, as he checks in at No. 3 on the pommel horse.
