The Minnesota men's gymnastics team is firmly entrenched at No. 7 in the latest Gyminfo National Rankings released on Monday.
The Gophers are ranked behind No. 1 Penn State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Stanford and Illinois.
Minnesota, which dropped a road meet at No. 6 Illinois last Friday, travels to No. 10 Nebraska this weekend. Iowa, which is ranked No. 9, will also participate in the tri-meet. The Gophers beat Nebraska and Iowa at home earlier this season in separate meets. Minnesota also fell on the road at Iowa.
The Gophers also place seven gymnasts in the top 20 in individual event rankings. Steve Jaciuk leads the way, as he is placed third in the high bar and ninth in parallel bars. Ellis Mannon is ranked fourth in the pommel horse, while Adam Kern is the final Gopher ranked in the top 10 as he is slotted at eighth on vault.
