Gophers Keep No. 6 Ranking, Eight Gymnasts Ranked in the Top 20

The Gopher men's gymnastics team keeps their No. 6 spot in the national rankings after their road win against Iowa and Nebraska last weekend.

As a team Minnesota is ranked in the top five on three separate events, including a No. 4 ranking on the pommel horse and parallel bars as well as a No. 5 ranking on the still rings.

Eight Gopher gymnasts remain ranked in the top 20 on individual events.

On the floor exercise freshman Kyle Banks moved up four spots into a tie for eighth. Josh Wokurka is tied at No. 20.

Ellis Mannon's No. 4 ranking leads Minnesota on the pommel horse. John Scallon is ranked at No. 15 on the event.

Russell Dabritz represents the Gophers on the still rings and parallel bars. Dabritz is tied for 18th on the rings and is ranked fourth on the parallel bars. Ross Cameratta is also ranked in the top ten on the parallel bars. Cameratta is tied at No. 7.

Zack Chase, last week's Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Week, is ranked eighth on the vault. Teammate Adam Kern is tied at No. 20.

On the high bar Ellis Mannon has moved into the No. 17 spot.

The Gophers' next meet is February 18th at home against Nebraska at 1pm.
