2015 • Freshman Season: All-Big Ten Second Team honoree • was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (3/16/15) • received Gophers' Comeback Gymnast of the Year Award • received Gophers' Academic Excellence Award • appeared in three regular-season meets plus the Big Ten and NCAA Championships and competed on vault • sat out first part of the season with a hand injury • set career-high score of 15.350 at last regular home meet of the season vs Iowa (3/7) • finished 9th overall on vault at the NCAA Individuals Finals after notching a 13.875 (4/9) • earned second place in the conference with a 15.250 performance on vault at Big Ten Championships • collegiate debut vs. Stan/Cal on vault where he tallied a 15.150 (2/28) • in first three collegiate meets, he tallied a 15.100 or higher and earned two individual event titles • earned first varsity letter.
Personal: Born Oct. 30, 1996 • son of Mike and Zoya Pochinka • has two younger brothers, David and Simon • majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology.
