Minnesota finished fourth in qualifying session but nine Gophers advance to individual competition

2015 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Received Gophers' Rookie of the Year Award • appeared in all eight regular-season meets plus the Big Ten and NCAA Championships and competed on still rings • added a 14.20 on still rings at the NCAA Team Qualifiers (4/9) • notched a 14.40 at the Big Ten Championships (3/27) • in all but one meet, tallied a score of 14.00 or above on the still rings • earned second place with season-high still rings score of 15.05 vs. Iowa/Neb (2/14) • earned first varsity letter.
2014 • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2014 season • received Gophers' Most Inspirational Award.
High School/Club: 2013 graduate of Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas • Competed for the Alamo Gymnastics Center for coach Yuejin Sun • placed first on still rings and fifth on pommel horse at the 2013 Junior Olympic National Championship (Level 10) • two-time USA Gymnastics Academic All-American honoree • club teammate of Gopher alum Michael Hillin.
