2014 Senior Season: Set career high on pommel horse with 13.400 at season-opening Windy City Invitational (1/18) tied career high on parallel bars with 13.950 at Air Force meet (2/8).
2013 Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten saw season best on both pommel horse (12.850) and parallel bars (13.950) against Air Force (1/26) recognized with team's Academic Excellence Award and NCAA Elite 89 Award took 10th on the parallel bars at Iowa (2/8) took 13th on bars with a score of 12.100 against UIC (2/24).
2012 Sophomore Season: Did not see any meet action.
2011 Freshman Season: Did not see any meet action.
High School/Club: Was a home-schooled student placed second in 2010 Ohio state meet participant in Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier in 2009 club member of Gymnastics World of Ohio recipient of the Royal Ranger GMA award.
Personal: Born June 13, 1991 brother of former Gopher gymnast Aaron Fortunato son of Patrick and Marcia Fortunato academic all-American enjoys reading, swimming, singing and sparring.

What is your favorite part about SAAC?
Being a go-between for SAAC and my team. I also like being able to see what is going on in the athletic department as a whole.
