Gophers Finish Third at The Landfall Tradition

The University of Minnesota men's golf team shot a final round 296 to tie for third at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. The Gophers carded a three-round score of 889 (+25) and finished 19 strokes behind tournament champ Texas A&M.

Individually, the Gophers placed three golfers in the top 10. Freshman Antti Ahokas tied a career low round with his second 66 of the fall season to finish in a tie for third at even- par 216. Junior Bronson La'Cassie finished eighth at 3-over 219 after a 76 on Sunday. Junior Niall Turner tied for ninth at 4-over 220. Turner carded a third round 74. Freshman Robbie Kelley finished tied for 50th at 235 and sophomore Mike Fiedler was 56th at 243.

Minnesota completes its four tournament fall season with a tournament finish no lower than fourth and one tournament title at the Gopher Invitational.
