Tee Times | Minnesota Season Statistics

The Minnesota men's golf team will travel to Zionsville, Ind., for the Wolf Run Intercollegiate (Sept. 21-22). It will be the Gophers' second tournament of the fall season.

Thirty-six holes will be played on Saturday with shotgun starts, and the final 18 holes will start with tee times on holes 1 and 10 on Sunday.

Jon DuToit, Jon Trasamar, Tyler Lowenstein, Jose Mendez and Alex Gaugert make up Minnesota's travel squad for the weekend. DuToit and Trasamar were the top two finishers in the team's qualifying tournament during the week, while Mendez and Gaugert were coaches' picks and Lowenstein was exempt because of his team-leading finish at the Gopher Invitational. The same five Gophers were in the lineup for the Gopher Invitational.

The course: Wolf Run Golf Club is a par-71 course that will play at 7,155 yards.

The field: Other than the Gophers, the 14-team field is made up of Auburn, Illinois, Illinois State, tournament host Indiana, IPFW, IUPUI, Kentucky, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Oakland, Ohio, Toledo and Wisconsin. Minnesota has already faced and beaten Toledo this fall.

Illinois won last year's event. Runner-up Indiana's Brant Peaper won medalist honors.

Notes: *The Gophers' team score of 865 at the Gopher Invitational was better than all but one of their 54-hole tournament scores last season. Minnesota turned in a score of 858 at the U.S. Intercollegiate in March.

*At the Gopher Invitational, Lowenstein set a new career-low tournament score (214) and tournament score to par (+1) in addition to tying his best finish (t-10th) and 18-hole score (70).
