No.The Minnesota men's golf team is ranked in the preseason top 25 in both the Golfweek and the Precept Coaches Polls released this week. The Golden Gophers check in at No. 21 in the Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the Golfweek preseason top 30. Defending national champ Clemson tops both polls.

The two-time defending Big Ten champions are the highest ranked Big Ten team and return two-time All-American Justin Smith and senior David Morgan to their starting lineup. Minnesota begins its fall season on Sept. 19-20 at the Inverness Classic in Toledo, Ohio.
