The Big Ten Conference has announced Victoria National in Newburgh, Indiana, as the site of the 2015 and 2016 Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships. The 2015 tournament will be held April 24-26, while the 2016 dates will be announced later.
Victoria National, designed by Tom Fazio, is a private course ranking No. 1 in Golf Digest’s “Best in State” and No. 47 in “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.” The par-72 course plays at 7,209 yards and spans 418 acres. Victoria National has hosted high-profile events, including the 2012-14 Web.com United Leasing Championship and the 2006 USGA Senior Amateur Championship.
The Gophers won the 2014 Big Ten Championships at the Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Indiana. The Pete Dye Course served as home to the conference tournament for the past three years.
