nThe Minnesota men's golf team moved into the top 10 in the GCAA/Precept Coaches poll released this week. The Gophers moved up four spots to the 10th position. Florida remains No. 1, a spot they have not relinquished during the spring season. Clemson, UCLA, Arizona and Georgia round out the top five.

The two-time defending Big Ten champions are the only ranked Big Ten team and have been playing shorthanded all spring without sophomore Ryan Paulson who dislocated his shoulder in February and has missed the last four events. Minnesota returns to action next weekend at the Fossum/Taylor Made Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. The Big Ten Championships will be contested on May 7-9 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
