The Golden Gophers are tied with Georgia Southern, with both schools 10-strokes back from event leader North Carolina. The Intercollegiate is being held at the par 71, 6,782-yard Raleigh Country Club in Raleigh, N.C.

Seniors Simon Nash (Pullanvale, Australia/St. Joseph's) and Wilhelm Schauman (Djursholm, Sweden/Victor Rydberg) both carded rounds of 70-72-142 (E) to sit tied for 18th place. Junior David Morgan (Rochester, Minn./Robert L. Stevenson) shot rounds of 70-74 while senior Matt Anderson (Edina, Minn./Edina) fired two rounds of 1-over 72 to each tie for 27th place at 144 (+2). Junior Justin Smith (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) is tied for 47th with scores of 72-74-146 (+4).

The Intercollegiate will conclude tomorrow.
