plaThe Golden Gopher men's golf team was part of a three teams that participated in a two-round playoff for the Las Vegas Intercollegiate title this afternoon in Las Vegas, Nev. Arizona State won the playoff winning the title, while Oklahoma State and Minnesota finished in a tie for second with a three-day total of 848.

Junior James McLean finished in a tie for seventh individually with a three-day total of 211 after shooting a 70 this afternoon. Also finishing well for Minnesota was senior Dave Gunderson, who tied for 14th place with a three-day total of 212, after shooting a 68 on the afternoon.
