(65-67-72Former University of Minnesota Golden Gopher golfer Simon Nash recorded his best professional finish after turning pro after the 2003 collegiate golf season. Nash fired an 18-under par 271 (65-67-72-67) to tie for third at the Holden New Zealand Open.

Nash, 26, is currently 5th on Australasian PGA Tour Order of merit. The native of Brisbane, Australia was a winner on the Hooters mini tour last summer and will play in this week's Nationwide Tour event Jacob's Creek Open Championship in Adelaide, Australia.
