One round into its final tournament of the fall, Minnesota finds itself in a tie for 11th place. The Golden Gophers posted a team score of 313 (+25) for the first 18 holes of the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic.

Jon Trasamar and David Haley Jr. each posted a 5-over 77 to tie for 31st place. Haley made five birdies, but a few tough holes canceled them out. Erik Van Rooyen had a 7-over round of 79, while Robert Bell finished at 8-over on the day (80). Tim Peterzen recorded an 85 (+13).

At 25-over, the Gophers are 21 strokes behind leader Campbell. Second-place team Kennesaw State trails Campbell by seven strokes. Minnesota and Butler share 11th place. The only other Big Ten team in the field, Wisconsin, sits at 30-over. Campbell’s Vaita Guillaume leads all competitors at -3.

Tee times for the second round begin at 7:45 a.m. Monday. Live results will be available here.
