Through 36 holes, Minnesota men’s golf is tied for sixth at the NCAA Raleigh Regional at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The Golden Gophers and the rest of the field completed their first round Friday after play was suspended due to inclement weather Thursday. Everyone was also able to complete the second round.

Alex Gaugert eagled the 15th in the second round, and later birdied the first, second and third holes. His 2-under 69 in the second round brought him to even on the day, and he will enter the last day tied for 18th.
