Trasamar's Tie for Sixth Highlights Gophers' Seventh-Place Finish at Snowman Getaway

Three Golden Gophers, one playing individually, finished in the top 10 as Minnesota finished seventh at the Snowman Getaway Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz. The Gophers posted a season-low team score of 872 (+8).

Jon Trasamar carded a three-round score of 214 (-2) in tying for sixth, with a 75 today. Robert Bell, playing as an individual, also tied for sixth after shooting a 73 today.

Jon DuToit tied for 10th at 1-under on the tournament. The freshman carded a 71 in the final round. DuToit, Trasamar and Bell all recorded their best finishes of the season so far.

Erik Van Rooyen turned in Minnesota's best score today with a 4-under 68. He made an eagle and three birdies to just one bogey. Van Rooyen tied for 35th place.

Alex Gaugert (223) and Charlie Braniff (228) finished in ties for 45th and 65th, respectively.

Minnesota will return to action at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Course in Greensboro, N.C., March 23-24.
