2011-12 JUNIOR SEASON:
Competed in one tournament on the season, as an individual in the Gopher Invitational.
2010-11 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Played in five events in his sophomore campaign at Minnesota finished with a stroke average of 75.93, the third-lowest on the team established a career-low with a second-round three-under par 69 at the Windon Memorial also established a career-low with a 54-hole scorecard of 219 at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational will enter his junior season with a career stroke average of 77.70 Academic All-Big Ten.
2009-10 FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in seven of the team's 11 tournaments as a freshman posted a stroke average of 78.95 best round of 71 came in the first round of the Alister Mackenzie tied for 30th as an individual at the Windon Memorial.
SUMMER 2009 AMATEUR PLAY:
Made the cut on Omega China Tour shot a second round score of 8-under par 64 with 10 biridies.
A graduate of Bradenton Preparatory Academy attended David Leadbetter IMG Golf Academy ranked 210 in the Golfweek Junior Rankings and is the 84th ranked player in the Class of 2009 won the China Junior Championship in 2006 and was a member of the Chinese National Junior Team two top-10 finishes on the AJGA Circuit.
Born Sept. 25, 1990 son of Hong Tao and Guangwei Zhi enjoys playing basketball and computer games.
