DuToit Takes MGA Amateur Title

Gopher captain cards final round 68 to win by one stroke

2015-2016•SOPHOMORE SEASON
Fall 2015: Had a 76.33 scoring average over six rounds•tied for 17th at Gopher Invitational

2014-2015FRESHMAN SEASON:
In nine tournaments, held a 74.65 stroke average • posted one top-10 and three top-20 finishes. Fall 2014: Had a 75.67 scoring average over nine rounds • had one under-par round (70) at the Gopher Invitational. Spring 2015: Competed in six spring tournaments with a 74.12 stroke average • tied for 18th at the Big Ten Championships (+8) with one round under par • won the Gophers' dual match with Dartmouth with a season-low 68 (-4) • had one round under par at the Hawkeye Invitational and tied for 17th (+1).

HIGH SCHOOL:

Graduated from West Fargo High School in 2014 • a two-time North Dakota Class A state champion, winning in 2012 and 2014 • finished 3-under with a 69 in the final round of the 2014 championships • carded scores of 72 and 71 in winning the individual and team titles in 2012 • finished seventh at the 2013 state tournament.
