This is the fifth announced television appearance for the Gophers in 2004. Both of Minnesota's games this season have been televised, and their upcoming games with Colorado State this Saturday, Sept. 18 at 9 p.m. (CT) in Fort Collins, Colo., and against Northwestern on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. (CT) at the Metrodome will be nationally televised on ESPN2. This is the first time that the Gophers have had their first five games of the season televised live since 1996.
Future Gopher games will be selected under the six and 12-day window of the networks' contract with the Big Ten.
