B1G Commissioner Delany Visits Gophers
Delany addressed the team after practice.

Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany visited Minnesota on Thursday as part of his tour of all 12 conference schools. He met with the media before going out to the field to watch the Gophers' football practice. Delany spoke to the team when they were done.

The Gophers gave Delany a football helmet bearing a No. 25 to represent his 25 years as commissioner. Hockey coach Don Lucia presented him with a personalized No. 1 Gopher hockey jersey.
"I think the program is in very good hands," Delany said of Minnesota football.
