After five weeks, more than 30 video submissions, thousands of video views and hundreds of fan votes on Facebook, Twitter and GopherSports.com, a winner has been chosen in the first-ever Gopher Football "Countdown to Vegas" video contest, sponsored by Park Nicollet Health Services.
Bronwyn Miller, a U of M student from Eden Prairie, Minn., and her winning entry "Desparate Times Call for Desparate Measures" (which you can view on YouTube here), placed amongs the top five in the fan voting period from August 1-6 and was then selected as the winner amongst a panel of judges that included Gopher staff, players and Goldy Gopher himself.
Bronwyn wins round-trip airfare and accomodations for two to Las Vegas, Nevada to watch Jerry Kill and Gopher Football open the 2012 season against the UNLV Rebels on Aug. 30 at Sam Boyd Stadium. Game time is 10 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CBS College Sports Network (check your local listings to see where it is available in your area).
The winner and guest will also be the subjects of a special feature from Las Vegas, to appear on GopherSports.com!
