Minnesota head football coach Jerry Kill visited the ESPN campus in Bristol, Conn., yesterday. Coach Kill was one of six Big Ten head coaches to visit the sprawling compound on Wednesday to promote the upcoming college football season.
Kill was at ESPN for about four hours and had a full schedule. Upon arriving, he visited with writers Brett McMurphy and Travis Haney before being interviewed live on SportsCenter by Samantha Ponder. Kill and Ponder chatted about living in Minneapolis for a few minutes before the interview took place.
After his SportsCenter interview Kill participated in a live ESPN.com chat with fans and was then interviewed by Joe Tessitore on the College Football Live set. During the interview he was joined by one of the Big Ten’s newest coaches and now rival Gary Andersen of Wisconsin.
Next, Kill participated in an interview for ESPN’s new college football app and then wrapped up his day by speaking with ESPN.com reporters Adam Rittenberg and Gene Wojciechowski.
While on campus coach also visited informally with the network’s college football reporter Joe Schaad and senior writer Ivan Maisel.
